Researcher at the Institute of Chronic Illnesses, Inc./Dallas Unit. Dr. Kern is a neuroscientist and autism researcher who has conducted clinical research in children and adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) since 1994. She has 34 peer-reviewed scientific research publications in ASD. The main focus of her research is in genetic biomarkers of susceptibility, oxidative stress, neurodegeneration, neuroinflammation, and toxicity in ASD. She has collaborated with Dr. Denito since 2005 in formulating a model for how to support the developing brains of our youth in preventing degenerative diseases and obesity. Her work involves extensive use of nutrition in modulating human behavior.
Dr. Denito has been in private practice since 1982 and is currently director of the multidiscipline clinic Galaxy Health Institute. He has seen and advised more than 10,000 patients from 40 States and 7 countries. Dr. Denito’s extensive experience in laboratory analysis and nutritional supplement use led him to develop the testing procedures and product line that make Slimgeneration the leader in customized and sustainable weight loss.
Dr. Overberg received his Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Texas at Dallas in cellular genetic repair. He is a member of the International and American Associations of Clinical Nutritionists, and a Fellow in the American Council of Applied Clinical Nutrition. He is also a member of the Price-Pottenger Foundation. He completed his Dietetic Internship through TWU in Denton, and became a Registered Dietician in July, 2005. He is currently a clinical nutritionist for The Environmental Health Center in Dallas, TX.
